Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and advocate for a team of Manufacturing Engineers supporting manufacturing and supply chain
- Act as liaison between design engineering, programs, manufacturing, and supply chain
- Identify and execute DFM and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead time, labor hours, and cost
- Establish, monitor, and improve manufacturing & supply chain metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Enable autonomy by simplifying processes, challenging requirements, and implementing automation
- Define and deliver training and capability expansion across manufacturing and supply chain
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and supply chain issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Partner with engineering teams to implement design changes that improve manufacturability and standardization
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (required)
