Essential Duties
Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations. Identifies and researches variances. (60%)
Responsible for components of year end audit and financial statement preparation. Responsible for compliance reporting requirements. (20%)
Act as coach and mentor for accounting staff and external departmental users. (10%)
Setting up and maintaining chart of accounts elements for grant funds in the financial system. Review and close inactive elements. (10%)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; at least 3 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree; CPA or CMA.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Advanced accounting principles • Excel experience
Reporting software and complex accounting software
Grant experience
Familiar with data analysis, research and reporting tools.
