Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced District Sales Manager to join our well-known independent seed company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sales within a district covering over 4 counties, focusing on selling seed products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in seed sales, excellent communication skills, and a customer service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales activities within the designated district, including prospecting, customer visits, and closing sales deals.
  • Grow and expand the client base within the territory.
  • Provide agronomic expertise and support to customers.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to promote seed products and expand network.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and territory performance.

Salary and Benefits:
In addition to a competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $125,000, this position offers commission opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling seed products.
  • Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining relationships.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
