Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Provide high-level administrative support including scheduling, document preparation, meeting and event coordination for the SVP of Government Relations, Business Development and Community Engagement.
- Draft correspondence, presentations and other documents as needed to support the SVP of Government Relations, Business Development and Community Engagement.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and communications.
- Develop and implement community health strategies, manage relationships with community partners, and oversee programs that improve the health and well-being of the community and the Meharry Health Network clinics.
- Monitor community organizations and other stakeholders for Meharry Health Network clinical activities that may increase patient(s) response and actions.
- Serve as a key liaison between Meharry Medical College and external Meharry Health Network clinical partners, community organizations, and healthcare systems.
- Coordinate collaborative initiatives with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers to expand the Meharry Health Network clinical footprint.
- Track progress, analyze outcomes, and report on clinical engagement metrics and community impact.
- Coordinate logistics for clinical engagement events such as health fairs, clinical training sessions, and collaborative summits.
- Manage marketing materials, outreach tools, and communication strategies in support of engagement efforts.
