A Day in the Life

The Sr. Supply Chain Planning Program Manager position will support ERP system enhancements/migration. The candidate must be able to understand business requirements, have technical working knowledge of ERP systems, and experience with software validations. This position requires cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, ops scheduling, IT, finance, marketing, and other groups. The role requires a self-starter that can drive action, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.

This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.

Day in A Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Analyzes, develops, and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.

  • Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns.

  • Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 7 years technical program management  

OR

Advanced Degree and minimum of 5 years technical program management

Nice to Have

  • 10+ years program management in supply chain supporting ERP system enhancements and migrations

  • Previous experience in highly regulated industry; medical device experience preferred

  • Self-starter able to drive action, remove barriers, and escalate as needed

  • Understanding of ERP systems

  • Experience with system validation

  • Experience understanding business requirements and acting as voice of the customer to ensure business continuity

  • Ability to communicate technical communication to non-technical teams

  • Organized and able to manage multiple initiatives

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$142,400.00 - $213,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
