We founded theMednet after our father, also a physician, was diagnosed with cancer and we realized how difficult it was to know what to do when the answers are not found in textbooks, guidelines, or papers, but rather trapped in the heads of experts. We created theMednet to document expert knowledge and give physicians everywhere access to that knowledge.

Our Mission: Help physicians access expert knowledge to improve patient outcomes. theMednet is the first ever platform that delivers large-scale peer-to-peer education to community physicians with actionable insights back to pharma in one single offering. TheMednet was started in 2014 and includes over 25,000 physicians in oncology, rheumatology, neurology, dermatology, and pulmonology, cardiology and nephrology with more coming soon. TheMednet was featured in Inc. Magazine as one of the companies changing the future of medicine.

Additionally, we’ve collaborated with Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical companies including, but not limited to, Amgen, AstraZeneca, BMS, Eli Lilly, Johnson & Johnson and Roche.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Medical Education Partnerships Lead to help establish and grow our medical education function. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative company and shape a new capability within our organization—partnering with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to develop both accredited and non-accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs that drive meaningful clinical change.

As an early member of this vertical, you’ll play a central role in defining our strategy, identifying high-impact educational opportunities, and securing funding for new medical education projects. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure programs are executed with excellence and aligned with our clients’ goals.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, is fluent in both clinical and commercial language, and is excited to build something from the ground up.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Build and cultivate relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech partners to identify opportunities for non-promotional CME/IME aligned with clinical, educational, and brand strategies.

  • Design program concepts that address provider knowledge gaps and patient care needs—balancing innovation and client goals with feasibility.

  • Lead the end-to-end development and submission of grant proposals, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure compelling, compliant, and fundable submissions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams—including strategy, medical experts, content development, and client success—to support accurate, timely delivery of education programs.

  • Develop deliverables that track program performance, demonstrate ROI to funders, and inform future educational direction.

Requirements:

  • 4-5+ years of life-sciences experience, life sciences, medical education, or healthcare strategy, with a track record of managing or selling into pharmaceutical/biotech clients.

  • Deep understanding of CME/CE landscape and compliance frameworks (e.g., ACCME, PhRMA, OIG).

  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Strong cross-functional project management and client relationship skills.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)

  • Bachelor's degree required
