Part-Time Senior Associate, Accounting
Skills
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations and journal entries
- Analytical skills for margin and variance analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational accounting for Mass Retail and DTC channels
- Perform invoicing and accounts receivable/payable functions
- Support monthly close activities including reconciliations and adjusting journal entries
- Analyze month-over-month and year-over-year balances and results
- Prepare monthly management accounting package (MD&A) and assist with consolidated quarterly financial statements
- Strengthen internal financial controls and support SOX readiness efforts
- Build relationships across accounting, tax, finance, and external auditors
- Contribute to special projects such as AI use cases and process improvement initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Active CPA license or progress toward CPA (preferred)
