- Strong bank reconciliation and general ledger skills
- Comfort working with high-volume data and basic databases
- Proficient Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
- Familiarity with accounting controls and GL structure
- Strong verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration
- High level of confidentiality and adherence to processes
- SQL knowledge is a significant plus
Responsibilities
- Perform daily matching and reconciliation of activity within partner bank-owned accounts using internal reports
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and post corrective entries as needed
- Ensure internal stakeholders complete daily processes accurately and on time
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal teams and partner bank representatives
- Support development and implementation of process improvements and reconciliation automation
- Strengthen and maintain the accounting control environment
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- CPA or advanced degree preferred but not required
