Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for mechanical, optical, electronic assemblies, and PCBAs
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard contract manufacturers and strategic suppliers
- Lead supplier audits, capability assessments, and performance reviews
- Negotiate complex contracts, pricing agreements, and SLAs
- Manage and coordinate a third-party sourcing team based in China and other remote resources
- Establish KPIs for supplier performance, cost savings, and delivery metrics
- Drive cost reduction and manufacturability initiatives with engineering
- Implement supply chain risk mitigation and contingency planning
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through early supplier engagement
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, and Engineering teams
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (required)
- Master's degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain) preferred
