Skills
- Technical procurement experience in supply chain or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR and ITAR compliance
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) and strong Excel skills
- Supplier relationship management and order expediting
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to monitor performance, resolve quality or delivery issues, and negotiate pricing.
- Track and expedite orders to meet deadlines and production schedules.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with project needs.
- Maintain procurement records, track KPIs, and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ITAR, and FAR/DFAR regulations and maintain required documentation.
- Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve supply chain disruptions and delivery delays.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field (required)
