Skills
- Expertise in model-based design with Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow.
- Strong understanding of automatic control systems (PID, compensator design).
- Working knowledge of C/C++ for embedded control implementation.
- Experience with FMEA and fault-tree analysis.
- Familiarity with tools such as JAMA, JIRA, Git, and Confluence.
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams and hands-on prototyping.
- Exposure to RF/BLE/UWB, CAN analysis tools, Autosar, Embedded Coder is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop control systems for vehicle access features (lock/unlock, authentication, ranging, zone-based functions).
- Write requirements and test cases for access control and assigned features using Matlab/Simulink models.
- Improve and develop simulation models/platforms to analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot vehicle behavior.
- Integrate features into controller codebase and support embedded implementation.
- Test software on-vehicle and assist with feature calibration and validation.
- Support FMEA and failure analysis activities to align with ISO 26262 expectations.
- Develop diagnostic, communication, and interface definitions across controllers/ECUs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, systems, test) to solve controls problems.
Education
- Bachelor's degree (required) in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive systems, or related technical field.
- Master’s or higher in a related discipline is advantageous but not required.
