Job Overview:
LPL’s Marketing Solutions department is seeking a Graphic Designer with a background in traditional and digital marketing. In this position, you will assist Sr. Marketing Consultants who are the marketing point person for several LPL advisors. You will aid in the development of the Sr. Marketing Consultant’s digital marketing strategy by creating and designing assets for our advisors. Some of which include, but are not limited to: logos, stationery suites, brochures/one-pagers, monthly social content calendar graphics, email design, social media posts, themed infographics, video editing, and ad-hoc advisor requests. You will leverage strong design skills, an eye for accuracy, brand consistency, and a knack for making complex things simple to help create digital content for LPL advisors.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Sr. Marketing Consultants by creating graphics to support LPL advisor's overall marketing strategy. Some of which include:
Graphics for social media posts
Infographics, companion imagery, and/or graphics for blogs
Email graphics and templates
Implementing firms' branding
Attend LPL advisor calls to gain a better understanding of the following:
Goals
Personality
Practice/Business
Content preferences
Existing clients and/or prospects
Complex projects
Develop advisor branding materials, including, but not limited to:
Brochures
Logos
Brand guidelines
Event materials
PowerPoint presentations
Stationery suites
One-pagers
Firm brochures
Website page designs
Collaborate with Sr. Marketing Consultants to leverage the LPL advisor’s digital ad spend to achieve the following:
Brand awareness
Demand generation
Engagement campaign
Collaborate with the Marketing Solutions Content team to deliver on the following items:
Creation of custom graphics
Development of content templates
Design of e-books
What are we looking for?

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in digital production, marketing, design, or communication, or 7+ years relevant work experience.
3+ years’ experience in marketing and/or design.
Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, Premier Pro, and Acrobat), Canva, and Wave.
Solid understanding of digital production, including using style sheets, branding, template creation, and troubleshooting technical issues in graphic files.
Working knowledge of video editing and best practices for social media.
Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms.
Support LPL Marketing Solutions team’s content needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, as well as be a team player.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Financial services experience a plus, not required.
FMG experience is a plus, not required.
