Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Applied AI layer focused on scientific workflows (e.g., literature review, protocol generation, data analysis).
- Lead end-to-end product development: user research, requirements, wireframes, specs, implementation, launch, and iteration.
- Work closely with ML researchers and engineers to identify production-ready techniques and design robust, scalable solutions.
- Conduct deep qualitative research with scientists to uncover high-impact use cases and validate product hypotheses.
- Establish and track simple, meaningful metrics to measure product impact on scientific outcomes.
- Act as internal subject-matter expert on the applied AI landscape; evaluate new models and tools to inform roadmap.
- Champion user needs across teams to ensure products are intuitive, reliable, and deliver measurable value.
- Own stakeholder communication and align cross-functional teams on priorities and delivery timelines.
Education
- Bachelorās degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in life sciences, chemistry, physics, materials science, computer science, or related field is a plus.
