Company Overview:
A global institutional investment firm with over 500 professionals worldwide is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their AI team. The team plays a crucial role in leveraging data to enhance decision-making processes and drive innovation in the financial sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a world-class financial data retrieval system
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to optimize data integration into production applications
- Work with ML researchers to prototype, develop, and deploy new ML products
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and support
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical AI infrastructure
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with at least 3 years in backend AI solutions
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and ML packages
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong experience with RestAPI and gRPC or JPRC
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
- Experience with Knowledge Graphs and Graph Databases (Neo4j)
- Experience integrating LLMs and AI models into production applications
- Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Anthropic Claude, or similar AI services
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Compensation:
Salary: $150,000 – $250,000, Plus Bonus
