LaBella is looking for the right person to lead the interior design aspect of the K-12 market projects and project teams. The lead position is expected to be an authority or expert in the fields of interior design with a specialty in K-12 learning environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications and Certification:
• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from a 4 – year CIDA accredited interior design program.
• Have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in commercial interiors with a concentration in educational environments both K-12 and/or Higher Education.
• NCIDQ Certification.
• State Certification or Registration.
• Other certifications such as ALEP, WBI, and LEED AP certifications are not required but are a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
• Expert proficiency in Revit and experience with AutoCAD.
• Advanced understanding of Sketch Up, Enscape and Adobe creative Suite, ability to use efficiently a plus.
• Advanced leadership and project management skills.
• Advanced organizational and time managements skills.
• Advanced understanding of all phases of design and construction.
• Ability to work quickly, effectively, efficiently and within project timelines and budgets, manage support teams to do the same.
• Good ability to lead, mentor, and delegate to project teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – excellent presentation and people skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively.
• Possess well-developed visualization skills and be able to convey intent of ideas easily and quickly, both verbally and visually.
• Enjoys working in a team setting and be excited to share knowledge and ideas with others, and to help others to improve their own skills and expertise.
• Advanced ability to create constructable technical documents.
• Proven experience in designing interiors for K-12 projects.
• Creative, forward-thinking, and passionate about creating immersive experiences.
Salary Range: $62,000 - $83,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
