We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-time Customer Service and Patient Cell Journey Coordination Sr. Manager. In this critical, patient-centric role, you will oversee the end-to-end coordination of the patient journey—from apheresis to product delivery, and infusion. You will serve as a primary interfacefor clinical sites and ensure seamless collaboration with internal cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Medical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality. You will be the Point of Contact for clinical sites for any inquiries and issues along the patient cell journey. Your focus will be on proactive communication, escalation management, schedule integrity, and building trust with sites as Kyverna scales globally. This role requires excellent organizational, collaborative and communicationskills as well as the ability to navigate complexity with a calm, solution-oriented mindset. 


Location:  Remote US East coast

Hours:  Part Time ~20-25 hours per week 

Travel:  10–20% (domestic, occasional international) 

Department: Technical Operations 

Reports to:  Director, Patient Operations 

Hourly Range: $70-$90/hr 


Responsibilities
  • Lead patient cell journey coordination across multiple clinical sites, ensuring timely and efficient communication with internal teams and external partners. 
  • Act as the voice of the clinical sites within the company, cultivating strong, trust-based relationships to support a positive site and patient experience. 
  • Serve as the single point of contact for clinical sites, managing all inquiries and escalations related to the patient cell journey. 
  • Oversee a customer support function that ensures sites are well-supported before, during, and after key patient cell journey milestones (e.g., apheresis, manufacturing, infusion). 
  • Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Ops, Medical, Supply Chain, Tech Ops, and Quality to manage escalations and enable fast issue resolution. 
  • Collaborate on developing and maintaining standardized processes, tools, and communication templates to support the coordination of the patient cell journey. 
  • Contribute to inspection readiness and GCP-compliant documentation practices in partnership with QA and Clinical Operations. 
  • Track and report operational KPIs related to patient coordination, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. 
  • Support scaling efforts as the company grows to serve additional sites, indications, and geographies. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance site experience, internal efficiency, and overall execution. 


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences; advanced degree a plus. 
  • 8+ years of experience in regulated environments (biotech, pharma, hospital, or apheresis/stem cell transplant settings). 
  • Cell and gene therapy or autologous CAR-T experience is required. 
  • Deep understanding of the patient cell journey and cross-functional dependencies. 
  • Strong project management, strategic thinking, and escalation handling skills. 
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build site trust and confidence. 
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels and functions. 
  • Comfortable working in a matrix environment and across time zones. 
  • Experience working in a distributed team structure is a plus.
