As a Coordinator, IT Security you will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. You will assist in supporting the implementation of security measures to protect our organization’s digital assets by analyzing data, trends, and performance metrics to provide valuable insights into the activity and usage of Kyocera’s Document Solutions applications and data. Additionally, you will collaborate often with other team members to conduct research, prepare reports, assessments, and research security incidents. The Junior Information Security Analyst is a critical thinker who will be tasked with assisting with information security assessments, compliance reviews, incident response, and helping with the overall cybersecurity posture.

The ideal individual leverages excellent technical and interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships with IT colleagues and business users. This security role contributes to the core IT objectives of delivering business operations that are highly performing, reliable, efficient, and conducive to maximizing value throughout the enterprise.

Responsibilities

+      Assist with security event analysis and support including identifying potential threats, anomalies, infections, and documenting findings.

+      Assist with the investigation, analysis and response to security breaches and incidents.

+      Assist with the delivery and management of the Information Security Awareness Training and Phishing simulations program.

+      Assist the Security Team to undertake security risk assessments.

+      Assist with the recommendation of security solutions, practices, and strategies.

+      Help maintain and update security documentation, policies, and procedures.

+      Stay current with the latest security trends, emerging threats, and technologies to enhance our security posture.

Qualifications

+      Degree in a relevant Information Technology area preferably with a focus on information security or extensive experience in cybersecurity management.

+      Minimum one year supporting IT for medium to large organizations in a team environment.

+      Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and security principles.

+      High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism.

+      Excellent analytical, time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

+      Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.

+      Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

+      Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

The typical pay range for this role is $59,000 -$74,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position may include a discretionary bonus based on performance.
