Reports to: Director, Communication Division.
Compensation: A stipend of $5,000, to be paid at a rate of $500 per week for a total of 10 weeks.
Location: On-site at KFB State Office in Louisville, KY.
Term: May 2026 to July 2026.

Assist with researching and writing news releases.
Research and update database of journalist e-mails used for press release distribution.
Post content on kyfb.com.
Research source materials and create media kits for Kentucky Farm Bureau events.
Organize photography produced by the organization.
Create video, photographic, and written content for social media.
Update and manage Kentucky Farm Bureau social media properties.
Manage and organize videos produced by KFB Studios.
Other duties as assigned.
Internal Relationships:
Reports to the Director, Communication Division.
Works with all communication staff.
External Relationships:
Has contact with various Kentucky Farm Bureau staff and affiliate company personnel.
Develops and maintains contacts with Kentucky Farm Bureau volunteer leaders and members of the media.
Junior, Senior or Graduate School.
Must have reliable transportation.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Cannot have been an intern for the Federation before.
Time Requirements:
Available May - July 2026.
Approximately 20 - 30 hours per week.
Some evening work and in-state travel possible.
