Qualifications: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Business, Communications, or Accounting; bachelor's degree preferred - 2 years experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable is required.

The Billing and Collections Specialist works with companies, institutions, and students to ensure invoices are issued and payments are received in a timely manner to minimize accounts receivable aging. The Billing and Collections Specialist communicates via phone, email, chat, and/or other methods to provide the client with the necessary information to ensure timely billing and collections. The team member must be able to quickly become familiar with common software used in invoicing and collections processes.

For full-time positions, Kaplan has three salary grades. This position is Salary Grade A: $31,200 to $78,647.
