Responsibilities
- Manage and process Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims including accurate data gathering and timely submissions to state agencies
- Process wage and benefit audits and time-sensitive requests from state unemployment agencies
- Submit required documentation via state portals and ensure compliance with deadlines
- Assist customers with escalations and provide clear, empathetic guidance on notices from state agencies
- Collect, prepare, and securely share sensitive employer and employee data via email/fax
- Resolve inquiries and issues from Customer Success and internal ticketing systems
- Support implementation of process improvements and system enhancements across unemployment workflows
- Help build internal resources such as help articles, training materials, and best practice documentation
- Audit, verify, and protest erroneous unemployment benefit charge statements to reduce client liability
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
