This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications and SDKs for medical devices that have a direct impact on users’ health. Accountabilities:

As a Staff SW Development Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS apps and SDKs, ensuring high reliability, performance, and compliance with platform guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests to maintain software quality.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
• Participate in design, code, and test reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Prepare documentation for SDK releases, including release notes, sample apps, and user guides.
• Continuously explore and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Candidates should bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and hands-on experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in iOS app development, with strong proficiency in Swift.
• 3+ years of experience in WatchOS development.
• At least 1 year of technical leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of iOS internals, BLE peripherals, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, integration of third-party libraries, and feature toggling tools (e.g., Launch Darkly).
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git and familiarity with continuous integration workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the medical device or healthcare technology industry is a plus.
