We are seeking an experienced software engineer to drive the development of advanced routing and navigation services. In this role, you will design, implement, and operate high-performance systems that power real-time guidance for a diverse set of customers, including automotive OEMs and niche clients. You will work on solving complex routing challenges, building scalable, low-latency services, and developing tools that enable creative navigation solutions. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency backend services for routing and navigation.
• Solve complex guidance scenarios and provide highly customizable routing solutions for diverse customer needs.
• Build tools and frameworks that empower other engineers to create innovative navigation experiences.
• Operate and optimize distributed systems with a focus on reliability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering best practices and service quality.
• Use experiments and data analysis to drive improvements in performance, reliability, and user experience.

• 5+ years of experience developing scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Strong experience with modern C++ and Linux server applications, or equivalent expertise in Go, Rust, or JVM-based systems.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, distributed systems, fault tolerance, and service discovery.
• Proven problem-solving skills with a data-driven, experimental approach to engineering challenges.
• Ability to work across the full technology stack and adapt to new technical areas.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Experience with geospatial data, mapping, or traffic telemetry systems.
• Background in real-time or performance-critical software.
