This role is ideal for a highly skilled full-stack engineer with a focus on backend development, who thrives in designing and delivering complex software solutions. Accountabilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of feature-rich, high-quality software for the business platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including growth and product, to build and optimize data-driven features, experiments, and workflows.
• Develop software designs, architecture, and solutions that set the standard for technical excellence.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, test coverage, and adherence to secure, resilient, and failure-aware coding practices.
• Convert product requirements into functional workflows, data models, and implementation plans.
• Mentor and guide fellow engineers, promoting collaboration, engagement, and best practices within the team.
• Take ownership of timely feature delivery while managing system evolution, configuration, and risk.

• 8+ years of experience developing complex software products.
• 5+ years of experience programming with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong defensive coding skills and experience designing secure, resilient, and failure-aware systems.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience contributing across the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and mentorship capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead projects with minimal guidance.
