Senior Customer Success Engineer - Central

This role offers the opportunity to drive customer success for a leading cloud data security platform, ensuring clients maximize the value of their technology investments. The Senior Customer Success Engineer will serve as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with customers to understand their business needs, deliver tailored solutions, and enable adoption of advanced security tools. With a focus on onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement, you will collaborate across teams to resolve challenges, influence product development, and support long-term customer satisfaction. This position involves travel up to 50% annually and combines technical expertise with strategic relationship management. It’s ideal for a proactive, innovative professional looking to shape the future of data security while mentoring others and leading client initiatives.


Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical expert and trusted advisor for customer accounts, guiding adoption and usage of cloud security solutions.
  • Design and deliver customized use cases aligned with customer goals, using a consultative approach.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement to maximize customer return on investment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring smooth operation and seamless customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to advocate for customer feedback and influence product roadmap.
  • Monitor customer health and usage metrics, developing joint success plans and conducting quarterly business reviews.
  • Mentor team members, sharing expertise and fostering professional development.
Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, including data and cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, scripting languages (Python or equivalent), cloud infrastructure, APIs, and web services.
  • Knowledge of DLP, Data Privacy/Protection, DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management preferred.
  • Proven success in onboarding, adoption, renewal, and expansion of customer accounts.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative with a results-oriented mindset.
