Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and APIs using Node.js for a complex, high-availability platform.
• Implement new products, features, and integrations to improve user experience and expand platform capabilities.
• Ensure scalability and performance of backend systems to support growing global user traffic.
• Apply best practices in security to protect platform integrity and customer data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, blockchain engineers, and operations, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to platform architecture and system design discussions to ensure maintainable and robust solutions.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript with proven experience in backend development.
• Experience with microservices architecture and designing scalable backend systems.
• Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, e.g., MySQL and MongoDB.
• Understanding of security principles and secure coding practices.
• Experience integrating with blockchain technologies is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with high-availability systems and distributed computing concepts.
• Knowledge of additional languages such as Ruby, Rust, or C++ is a plus.
• Experience with messaging queues, caching, and job queue systems (e.g., Redis).
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
