In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop ETL workflows, optimize SQL queries, and manage scalable cloud-based data infrastructure. Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to process and transform large datasets efficiently.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure data quality and accessibility.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance for scalable applications.
- Assist in managing cloud-based data infrastructure and integrating with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure reliable and maintainable solutions.
- Support deployment workflows, automation, and continuous integration processes.
- Learn and adopt best practices in data engineering, architecture, and pipeline design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or completion of a coding bootcamp.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Basic programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Understanding of cloud services and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of data pipeline frameworks such as Apache Spark, Airflow, or Databricks is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
