The Principal Software Engineer will design, develop, and optimize AI-powered products, bridging product requirements with complex data pipelines and services. This role involves creating scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems while collaborating closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams. Accountabilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure for AI-powered products.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and integrate internal and external data sources.
• Stay current with AI model developments and apply them to product features.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of product requirements, focusing on speed, accuracy, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Contribute to the architecture, code quality, testing, and documentation of all systems.
• Influence feature development, technical design, and innovation within the product roadmap.

• 15+ years of experience in backend systems, cloud architecture, and software engineering.
• Strong expertise in parallel and concurrent programming.
• Proven ability to build robust, testable, and scalable software systems.
• Experience designing APIs and collaborating with other teams for integration.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment, infrastructure as code, and modern development workflows.
• Bonus: experience with AI APIs, agentic workflows, and data pipeline development.

• Annual base salary: $225,000 – $275,000, based on experience, with performance-based bonus potential.
