Principal Software Engineer - REMOTE

• Contribute directly to the development of key platform features as an individual contributor.
• Lead the design and development of scalable and secure healthcare software systems.
• Design and implement solutions for healthcare transaction processing complying with industry standards.
• Communicate priorities and expectations to the team effectively.
• Take ownership of the quality of all team-delivered features.
• Promote experimentation and innovation by exploring new technologies.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for executive stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate potential technical risks early in the development lifecycle.

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering within a software product company.
• Experience with architecting and delivering complex SaaS solutions.
• 5+ years in the healthcare industry with knowledge of FHIR and HL7 standards.
• Proficient in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, and Python.
• Solid understanding of both relational and NoSQL database systems.
• Proven leadership skills with mentoring experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a record of delivering innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for clear articulation of technical concepts.
• Experience with Mirth Connect is a plus.
• Willingness to adopt AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity.
