We are seeking an experienced IT Security Architect to play a critical role in designing, reviewing, and guiding the implementation of secure architectures across enterprise systems. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, risk assessment, and strategic advisory to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. You will collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to embed security best practices, evaluate risks, and deliver architecture documentation. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in cloud, virtual environments, and emerging technologies, while directly contributing to the security posture of a global organization.

Accountabilities:

• Oversee and advise on security requirements for technology projects, ensuring alignment with architecture principles and security standards.
• Act as the subject matter expert to review designs, proposals, and implementations to identify security risks and recommend appropriate controls.
• Support project teams in making informed security decisions, providing guidance on tools, patterns, and technical security controls.
• Produce security documentation and risk artifacts, and lead escalation and resolution of residual risks.
• Advise project go/no-go decisions for production readiness and ensure delivery of secure solutions.
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing risk, compliance, and business needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5–10 years of IT Security Architecture experience, with at least 5 years in threat modeling (STRIDE or similar frameworks such as PASTA or Trike).
• Previous experience in financial institutions or Big 4 consulting strongly preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, GIAC, or Microsoft credentials (Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, 365 Security Administrator) highly valued.
• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud, Office 365, Intune, and Conditional Access policies.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST800, CIS, ISO27001) and architecture methodologies (SABSA, TOGAF).
• Experience with VMWare, Citrix, and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI and Blockchain is a plus.
• Strong analytical, advisory, and communication skills with the ability to guide diverse technical teams.
• Work authorization required (no sponsorship available).
