This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the product vision and execution for a dynamic SaaS-based online learning platform. The Head of Product will translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, oversee product backlogs, and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality releases that generate measurable business impact. This position requires balancing big-picture strategy with meticulous attention to detail, using customer insights and data to inform decisions. The ideal candidate is experienced in SaaS product management, capable of managing complex priorities, and passionate about delivering outstanding user experiences. You will work closely with teams across Engineering, Content, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success while mentoring early-career team members. This role is remote, offering flexibility alongside opportunities for quarterly in-person collaboration.
Accountabilities:
· Define and maintain the product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing initiatives with clear business cases and ROI.
· Lead customer discovery efforts, translating insights into actionable requirements and features.
· Develop clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business outcomes.
· Oversee product execution, including launch plans, checklists, decision logs, and cross-functional delivery.
· Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to coordinate product launches and go-to-market strategies.
· Build alignment and trust across teams, ensuring priorities, timelines, and success metrics are clear.
· Mentor and coach team members on product discovery, backlog management, and outcome-driven planning.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
· 12+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years in product management roles.
· Proven success owning and scaling SaaS-based products, ideally in online learning or related industries.
· Strong experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
· Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable customer and business impact through product strategy and execution.
· Deep financial literacy with disciplined decision-making focused on ROI and business outcomes.
· Skilled in customer discovery and translating insights into actionable product plans.
· Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics) to guide decisions and measure results.
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills to align stakeholders and drive execution.
· Experience mentoring or coaching product team members is a plus.
· Ability to travel quarterly for in-person meetings and company events.
