Field Support Specialist II - North Carolina

In this role, you will provide expert on-site and remote support for advanced lighting and control systems, ensuring smooth installation, operation, and troubleshooting. You’ll serve as a trusted technical resource for clients and internal teams, offering hands-on guidance and training to drive successful outcomes. Your work will involve collaborating with engineers, contractors, and distributors, delivering excellent customer service, and solving complex field issues. This position combines technical acumen, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset within an innovative and fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform on-site system startups, testing, troubleshooting, and end-user training for lighting and control systems.
  • Provide remote technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders, including agents, distributors, electrical contractors, and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and clients to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and support teams to resolve field issues efficiently.
  • Document service activities and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.

  • Associate degree in Engineering or graduation from a technical trade school.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in field service or technical support (2–4 years preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to support diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and general computer operations.
  • Working knowledge of wired and wireless lighting control systems, networking, and electrical wiring.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills in electrical and electronic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across different environments.

  • Competitive salary range between $48,100 and $86,500, depending on experience and location.
