DevOps Engineer (Cloud) (Remote - US)

In this role, you will be part of a collaborative and innovative engineering team focused on optimizing cloud infrastructure and automating deployment workflows for large-scale healthcare technology solutions. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Working alongside developers and product teams, you’ll enhance CI/CD pipelines, drive automation initiatives, and support infrastructure reliability. This is a hands-on position where your technical expertise and leadership will help streamline development operations and empower teams to deliver top-quality software faster.

Accountabilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud environments for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.
• Ensure proactive monitoring and observability using DataDog to detect and resolve issues effectively.
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes and containerized applications for improved scalability.
• Support Windows Server and IIS management, including SSL/TLS setup, patching, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents quickly across multiple environments.
• Apply cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Drive developer enablement through self-service infrastructure tools, APIs, and automation workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, including architecture, security, and cost optimization.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, DataDog, and scripting in Python or Bash.
• Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, CI/CD pipelines, and Windows Server/IIS administration.
• Proven experience optimizing infrastructure for performance and scalability in production environments.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication abilities to clearly articulate technical solutions and guide cross-functional teams.
