Client Platform Engineer (Remote - US)

As a Client Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining secure, scalable, and automated endpoint management solutions across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android devices. You will focus on enhancing infrastructure, streamlining operational workflows, and implementing modern automation practices to ensure both efficiency and security. Working closely with IT, Security, and Engineering teams, you will leverage Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and open-source tools to create a high-performance endpoint ecosystem. This position offers a remote-first environment with opportunities to contribute to enterprise-level technology solutions while collaborating across multiple disciplines. Your work will directly impact the operational excellence and security posture of the organization, providing a foundation for future innovation and efficiency.

Accountabilities:

·        Design, build, implement, and maintain scalable endpoint management infrastructure across multiple platforms (macOS, Windows, iOS, Android).

·        Develop automation solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), GitOps, and configuration management tools to manage endpoint configurations at scale.

·        Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to deploy endpoint management solutions across public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

·        Integrate open-source and first-party tools for mobile device management, application management, and telemetry.

·        Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and seamless user experiences while adhering to security standards and compliance frameworks.

·        Identify opportunities for process optimization, emerging technology adoption, and operational efficiency improvements.

·        Document solutions, best practices, and operational procedures for internal stakeholders.

·        Extensive experience managing enterprise endpoint platforms at scale, including macOS and iOS devices.

·        Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Golang, or Ruby.

·        Hands-on experience with Jamf PRO, Microsoft Intune, or equivalent cloud identity and endpoint management tools.

·        Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and GitOps workflows, with experience in Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar tools.

·        Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

·        Experience with open-source fleet management, configuration management, and telemetry tools (Salt, Puppet, Munki, osquery, Autopkg, WinGet, etc.).

·        Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor peers.

·        Demonstrated track record of delivering secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions.

Nice to Have:

·        Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

·        Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, or NIST.

·        Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CCSP.

·        Contributions to open-source fleet management or related technical communities.

·        Competitive total compensation range of $260,000–$325,000 USD, including equity and performance-related bonuses.
