Job Description

As our HR Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of driving people success across the NPDL Group. You’ll partner with leaders and teams from our diverse family of brands to deliver impactful HR solutions, support our people, and help shape a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to deliver impactful, people-focused business solutions
  • Leading training needs analysis and developing the Group Training Plan to drive capability uplift
  • Designing and delivering engaging learning, leadership, and upskilling programs
  • Embedding mentoring and coaching frameworks to strengthen leadership across the business
  • Providing expert advice and hands-on support across key HR areas, including:
    • Recruitment & talent attraction strategies
    • Performance management & development
    • Employment relations & investigations
    • Compensation & benefits
    • Organisational development
    • Health, safety & wellbeing
  • Driving initiatives to harmonise and embed a positive, cohesive company culture
  • Overseeing smooth and professional onboarding and offboarding experiences
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of HR systems, policies, and practices
  • Managing accurate employee records, training data, and compliance documentation
  • Facilitating HR roadshows to increase engagement and awareness across the business
  • Playing a key role in functional committees such as the LMCC and Grievance Committee
  • Leading investigations and preparing documentation for disciplinary processes
  • Contributing to HR projects and KPI achievements alongside the wider HR team
  • Supporting the HR Manager and team with various strategic and operational initiatives
  • Jumping in wherever needed—no task is too big or small when it comes to supporting our people!

Qualifications

    Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

    • A degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field—and a passion for making a real impact through people
    • At least 4 years’ experience in a dynamic HR environment, ideally as a trusted HR Advisor; FNU accreditation as a Training Officer is a plus
    • In-depth understanding of Fiji employment legislation and how to apply it in real-world business settings
    • Proven success in rolling out HR policies, procedures, and people development initiatives that drive results
    • Sharp problem-solving and analytical skills—you thrive on turning challenges into opportunities
    • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to partner with leaders and influence outcomes across the organization
    • The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment—calm under pressure, and always delivering on time.
