Position Location:

As an Enterprise Sales Engineer at PAR Punchh, a PAR Technology company, you will be a trusted advisor partnering with Account Executives to drive complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in the Restaurant industry. Your role is critical in helping prospective and existing customers solve mission-critical business challenges by demonstrating how PAR loyalty, engagement, and digital ordering solutions align with their strategic goals.

This role has a dual focus:

1.       Sell – Help close new business by showcasing how our platform delivers business value.

2.       Set up customers and internal teams for success – Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, understood, and well-documented for smooth onboarding and long-term success.

This role requires experience navigating multi-stakeholder deals, presenting to both technical teams and C-level executives, and working within enterprise SaaS sales environments.

What We’re Looking For:

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of Sales Engineering, Solution Consulting, or Technical Pre-Sales experience in a SaaS environment.

  • Proven experience supporting enterprise sales and navigating complex decision-making processes.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct discovery, design solutions, and deliver high-impact product demonstrations

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related discipline); an MBA/MS is preferred. 

Additional skills:

  •  Experience in Martech, loyalty platforms, POS systems, digital ordering, or payments.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, APIs, and enterprise SaaS integrations.

  • Understanding of the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced complex sales environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to tailor technical solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

  •  Partner with Account Executives to understand customers’ business and technical requirements, strategize on how to win deals, and deliver compelling value-based product demonstrations.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process, aligning PAR Punchh’s solutions with enterprise customers’ goals and architecture.

  • Conduct discovery sessions and translate findings into scalable solution designs that fit within each customer’s ecosystem.

  • Present confidently to marketing, technical stakeholders and executive leadership, tailoring messaging to different audiences.

  • Address technical objections, participate in security and compliance discussions, and serve as a liaison with Product and Engineering

  • Own the RFP/RFI process using tools like Responsive (formerly RFPIO), ensuring high-quality submissions and maintaining an accurate, up-to-date answer library to drive efficiency and consistency.

  • Create and maintain standardized SOW templates and develop Statements of Work based on pre-sales discovery to align with proposed solutions and ensure implementation readiness.

  • Support renewals and upsell opportunities by acting as the trusted technical advisor - conducting discovery, delivering demos, and designing solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Implementation, and Marketing teams to bring customer insights into roadmap and messaging discussions.

  • Represent PAR Punchh at industry conferences and events as a product and domain expert.
