Skills
- Active TS/SCI security clearance and DMV residency
- 5+ years in security professional services or similar customer-facing security role
- Strong Zeek log analysis and use experience
- Splunk SIEM expertise (search, dashboards, data onboarding)
- Network fundamentals including TCP/IP, packet capture, and firewall configuration
- Scripting skills (Zeek scripts, Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell)
- Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux/Unix administration
- Familiarity with Suricata, YARA and network detection tooling
- Experience integrating with Kafka, Logstash and other telemetry pipelines
Responsibilities
- Lead customer deployments and integrations of Corelight products across physical, virtual, and cloud networks
- Advise customers on improving cybersecurity posture and process optimization
- Investigate incidents using Zeek logs, Suricata alerts and related telemetry
- Design and implement integrations with packet brokers, asset managers, SOAR, and SIEM platforms
- Build queries, dashboards and data pipelines in Splunk and other SIEMs (Elastic, Humio)
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to influence product features and integrations
- Work with backend pipelines and tooling such as Kafka and Logstash
- Provide clear scoping, documentation, and knowledge transfer to customers
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Relevant hands-on security operations / incident response experience
