- Comfort working independently in a remote, contract role with tight documentation standards
Responsibilities
- Converse with language models across diverse topics to evaluate linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance
- Identify, reproduce, and document error traces and failure modes with clear examples
- Assess model outputs for regional grammar, phonetics, idiomatic usage, tone, and spelling conventions
- Provide concrete suggestions for prompt engineering, evaluation metrics, and training data improvements
- Produce written evaluation reports and structured annotation as required by project guidelines
- Follow data security and confidentiality protocols for contractor work
Education
- Degree in Linguistics, English, Literature, Translation, or related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience (teaching, localization, editorial, or translation) accepted
