Head of Marketplace

We've built the world's largest free wellbeing library of 300,000 guided meditations, music tracks, and courses from over 20,000 teachers. Now we're going to scale this to millions, and we need someone to lead these efforts.

You'll own the entire supply side of our marketplace - from connecting with wellness creators worldwide to building the systems that help our existing teachers scale their libraries. You'll lead content strategy across new formats such as video and podcasts, fill critical gaps in our library, and unlock content partnerships that make it easy for the best creators in the world to upload content.

You'll manage a team of 20 across publishing, teacher support, customer support and retreats. You'll work directly with our CEO and product teams to build the infrastructure that makes this all possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply-Side Growth Strategy: Own the roadmap to scale from 300,000 to millions of pieces of content over the next 12 months. Design and execute strategies that combine new creator acquisition, existing teacher growth, product innovation, and content partnerships.
  • Content Strategy & Gaps: Identify and fill critical gaps across wellness categories, formats, and languages. Ensure our library serves the full spectrum of wellbeing needs.
  • Creator Acquisition & Partnerships: Build relationships with top wellness creators and establish partnerships with content distributors that unlock access to high quality content at scale.
  • Existing Teacher Growth: Support our 20,000 teachers to expand their content libraries and grow their businesses. Build tools, incentives, and programs that make it easy for teachers to create and upload more content.
  • Product & Scalability: Partner with product teams to build the infrastructure that makes millions of content pieces possible: auto-upload tools, bulk import systems, API integrations, and distribution partnerships. Translate operational needs into clear product requirements.
  • Revenue & Monetization: Own teacher income and retreats revenue strategy. Build sustainable models that reward quality content and keep our community thriving.
  • Quality & Trust: Define and enforce content quality standards that scale while preserving creator freedom, user trust, and platform integrity.
  • Data & Insights: Track content performance, teacher engagement, and library gaps. Use data to inform acquisition priorities, content strategy, and product investments.
  • Experience: 10+ years leading supply-side growth at consumer content platforms or multi-sided marketplaces. You've scaled creator ecosystems from hundreds of thousands to millions.
  • Platform Scale: Deep experience at large creator platforms. You understand what it takes to attract, activate, and retain creators at scale.
  • Content Strategy: Strong understanding of content, formats, and distribution. You can look at library data and immediately see what's missing and how to fill it.
  • Operational Leadership: Comfortable managing diverse teams and complex operations. You can build systems, set clear goals, and drive execution across multiple functions.
  • Product Collaboration: Experience working with product teams to build creator tools and platform infrastructure. You can translate operational challenges into product requirements.
  • Revenue Focus: Track record growing marketplace revenue through creator monetization, commissions, or similar models. You understand the economics that make creator platforms sustainable.
