About This Position:

As a Project/Task Manager, you will play a mission-critical role in shaping secure, efficient, and forward-thinking outcomes for our intelligence community partner in Springfield, VA. Leveraging your technical, operational, and administrative leadership skills, you’ll be the driving force behind successful project execution from concept to completion.

• Lead end-to-end project and task lifecycles, ensuring seamless communication across stakeholders and timely execution of all deliverables.
• Provide expert oversight on scope, budget, schedule, and performance metrics to meet and exceed mission goals.
• Supervise project teams, including managers and technical staff, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Develop and manage detailed technical project plans, strategic proposals, progress reports, and administrative documentation.
• Identify, assess, and resolve project risks and challenges to maintain project momentum and quality standards.
• Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, facilitating clear, consistent communication and issue resolution.
• Coordinate and guide the development of high-quality deliverables, ensuring they meet stringent quality assurance standards.
• Maintain active engagement with subcontractors, vendors, and government agencies, fostering collaborative partnerships.
• Provide strategic insights and planning support to the client for managing task workloads and future project requirements.
• Stay current on emerging technologies relevant to the mission and integrate innovations where appropriate.
• Participate in special projects that support strategic objectives and long-term organizational growth.

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or 4 additional years of experience in information technology.
• 5+ years experience

• 5+ years of experience managing technical projects supporting DoD, or intelligence community clients is highly desired.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small-to-medium teams or departments across multiple functions with moderate to high complexity.
• Proven track record of managing project scope, cost, schedule, and performance in high-stakes, mission-critical environments.
• Experience supporting or collaborating with federal government agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief senior leadership and government stakeholders.
• Adept at risk management, issue resolution, and adapting to rapidly changing priorities or mission needs.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms is a plus.
