Skills
- Proven management experience in a veterinary setting
- Experience with clinical HR processes and SOPs
- Comfortable working clinical shifts both front and back
- Familiarity with veterinary practice management software
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day hospital operations with primary focus on personnel management including hiring, training, and development
- Manage scheduling, inventory, and clinic workflows to ensure efficient operations
- Execute clinical HR functions such as SOP implementation, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes
- Provide coaching and guidance to staff to improve clinical performance and client experience
- Work hands-on part-time on the floor in both back and front-of-house as needed
- Balance business needs with staff wellbeing and maintain a positive workplace culture
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or animal health preferred but not required
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CVPM) preferred
