Your role and responsibilities As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. Required technical and professional expertise

• Solution Design & Delivery: Proven experience in planning, documenting, and sizing technical solutions across the full project lifecycle—from design and development through to integration, implementation, migration, and production support.
• Cloud Implementation: Hands-on experience delivering cloud-based infrastructure or software solutions (public, private, or hybrid), including provisioning, scaling, and securing workloads.
• Kubernetes & OpenShift: Practical experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting containerized applications using Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift in enterprise environments.
• Infrastructure & Systems Administration: Strong background in administering enterprise IT systems including operating systems (Linux/Windows), networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in automating infrastructure and application tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Security and Compliance: Working knowledge of security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, compliance standards (e.g., NIST, GDPR), and vulnerability remediation in complex environments.
• Client-Facing Consulting: Demonstrated success working with clients to define technical needs and translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and performant solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams with excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• **Data & AI Technology Expertise: **Experience working with a broad spectrum of Data & AI technology solutions, including AI platforms and AI governance tooling, preferably watsonx.governance watsonx.data or watsonx.ai.
• Agile & DevOps Practices: Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and DevOps tooling for CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, ArgoCD), and iterative development lifecycles.
