Software Engineer - Data Streaming
Skills
- Strong programming fundamentals in Java, Go, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of distributed systems concepts and system design trade-offs.
- Experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms; familiarity with Kafka Connect, Flink, or Spark Streaming is a plus.
- Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in streaming systems.
- Proficiency with Linux CLI and shell scripting for debugging and workflow automation.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Willingness to adopt AI-assisted engineering techniques.
Responsibilities
- Develop distributed and reliable frameworks for streaming data ingestion into TigerGraph's graph database.
- Build efficient data pipelines for processing structured and semi-structured data.
- Create tools and services to monitor and visualize data ingestion workflows.
- Stay current with data science trends and incorporate them into streaming infrastructure design.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
