Outbound Contacts Representative 2

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Outbound Contacts Representative 2 to join our specialty clinical programs team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring patient safety and continuity of care by managing adverse drug event (ADE) reporting, supporting clinician outreach, and facilitating communication between patients, providers, and pharmacy staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and document Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reports in accordance with internal protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct outreach to patients to provide support on behalf of clinicians and pharmacy staff.
  • Assign and document patient calls accurately within electronic health records or patient management systems.
  • Make outbound calls to medical offices (MDOs) and patients to relay information, and transfer to a clinician for further assistance.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, and care teams to ensure timely and accurate communication.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all patient and provider interactions.
  • Assess the need for follow-up calls by interpreting call processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft office including excel, word, teams, outlook
  • Holiday shifts are rotated based on business operational hours and coverage needs
  • Mandatory overtime may be required due to business need and is communicated by leadership

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Call center experience
  • pharmacy background is a plus

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$39,000 - $49,400 per year
