Web Content Management Engineer (Hybrid)

*Securian Financial Groups internal position title is Engineering Analyst or Engineering Sr Analyst. The title and salary will be determined based on experience and applied skills.*

Position Summary:

We are seeking an engineer to work in a collaborative environment and join our Web Content Management (WCM) team. Responsible for Securian.com, Sync, and many other sites across the organization, the WCM team supports the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content management and digital asset management platform. In this role you will support many of Securian's internal and external web sites in a collaborative and agile environment. We are a team of developers that manage partnerships, products, development, testing, and all other areas of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide ongoing support for the Adobe Experience Manager platform, its integrations, and end users.

  • Work to solve problems innovatively and with a test and learn mindset.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript

  • Understanding of web app structure/routing principals

  • Experience with using logs provide insight

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Interest in learning new and sometimes complex systems

  • Interest in streamlining the engineering process by challenging conventional practices

  • Interest in translating business outcomes into actionable solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS Services including:

    • CloudFormation

    • EC2

    • S3

    • Lambda

    • CloudFront

    • Route53

  • Experience and interest in maintaining a SaaS platform

  • Knowledge of Splunk/Dynatrace/monitoring tools

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$52,500.00 - $97,500.00

Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
