Skills
- Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and DOM fundamentals
- Deep knowledge of React (hooks, composition, rendering lifecycle, performance patterns)
- Experience with async UI state and data flows (promises, async/await, optimistic UI)
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and familiarity with authorization (e.g., JWT)
- Familiarity with front-end tooling (Vite/Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn/pnpm)
- Comfortable with Git workflows (branching, PRs, reviews, CI checks)
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot-style) and validating outputs
- Solid HTML/CSS/SCSS fundamentals and responsive UI implementation
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and ship high-quality product features within a multidisciplinary Agile team.
- Translate designs and product requirements into accessible, performant React UI.
- Own UI architecture: component design, state management, data fetching, and abstractions.
- Write reliable, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and mentor teammates.
- Triage, debug, and resolve cross-browser and cross-device issues in partnership with QA and support.
- Optimize real-world performance (rendering efficiency, Core Web Vitals, bundle size, caching).
- Contribute to guild practices: tooling, coding standards, documentation, and architecture improvements.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate work while ensuring correctness and security.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Or equivalent practical experience in front-end engineering accepted
- Continuous learning mindset and familiarity with modern web engineering practices
