Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable streaming and batch data pipelines to handle ~1 TB/day into a lakehouse.
- Design warehouse schemas and ELT/ETL processes that support analytics and reverse ETL use cases.
- Implement and maintain data governance, lineage, quality, and documentation frameworks.
- Optimize performance and cost across AWS Glue, Databricks, and S3.
- Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with analysts, platform teams, and business stakeholders to enable self-service analytics and traceability.
- Mentor team members, set best practices, and help shape the data platform roadmap.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
