Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and job costing
- Expertise with SAMPro ERP or similar field service platforms
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools (preferred)
- GAAP principles and operational finance processes

- Ability to manage and lead staff while remaining hands-on
Responsibilities
- Own inventory setup, valuation, and maintenance in SAMPro ERP
- Reconcile inventory balances and develop analytic tools when physical counts are unavailable
- Maintain SAMPro master data including item records and costing
- Build and maintain detailed COGS models for budgeting and forecasting
- Analyze cost variances and report findings to VP of Finance
- Support invoice reviews and transaction categorization
- Monitor inventory adjustments, rebate reporting, and item usage trends
- Implement internal controls for inventory management and periodic physical counts
- Develop reporting dashboards for job costing, material usage, and profitability
- Assist monthly close efforts and strengthen account reconciliations
- Manage lease accounting and recurring payables tracking
- Document and optimize finance SOPs
- Lead cost-saving initiatives and build analytic tools to enhance cost visibility
- Partner with Operations on cost alignment and vendor sourcing initiatives
- Support VP Finance on cross-functional projects to improve scalability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
