As Head of Consumer Growth, you'll own consumer acquisition, activation, and monetization from day one. You'll launch growth experiments, iterate fast, and scale what works. Starting hands-on as an IC, you'll build the growth playbook and eventually hire a team as we scale. This role requires someone who moves at startup speed, is comfortable with ambiguity, and has a bias for action over perfection.
Launch and iterate on acquisition campaigns. Run paid media, social (organic and paid), influencer partnerships, and SEO/GEO experiments. Test fast, kill what doesn't work, double down on what does.
Own the growth metrics. Track CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and channel ROI. Report weekly on what's working and what's not.
Run rapid growth experiments. Launch tests across messaging, creative, landing pages, and offers. Learn quickly, iterate constantly.
Optimize conversion funnels. Work with Product and Engineering to improve signup flows, activation, and free-to-paid conversion. Find friction, fix it.
Build lifecycle marketing. Set up email campaigns and in-product messaging to drive activation, engagement, and upgrades.
Grow community initiatives. Steward Discord, creator programs, and user advocacy. Turn users into evangelists.
Manage agencies and vendors. Coordinate with external partners on campaigns and creative. Make smart budget trade-offs.
Have 4-7 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or growth product roles at consumer tech companies.
Startup DNA highly valued. You've built growth functions at early-stage companies (seed through Series B), ideally as a first or early growth hire. You know how to operate with limited resources and move fast.
Proven track record of driving measurable growth in user acquisition and revenue at B2C tech companies—consumer apps, creator tools, or AI products.
Channel expertise. You've built and scaled acquisition channels from scratch. You understand PLG models and self-serve funnels.
Analytical and metrics-driven. You're comfortable with funnels, cohorts, attribution, and making data-informed decisions quickly.
Hands-on execution. You launch campaigns yourself, write copy, set up ads, and don't wait for perfect conditions. You're scrappy.
Bias for action. You move fast, experiment constantly, and learn from failure. You see gaps and fill them without needing direction.
Mission-driven. You're energized by building from zero-to-one with a small, focused team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience marketing to creators, designers, or prosumers.
Experience with AI products, creative tools, or video platforms.
Strong analytics platform experience (PostHog, Hex, etc.).
Prior experience at companies with viral growth or network effects.
Community management experience (Discord, Reddit, creator communities).
Experience mentoring or developing team members.
Timing: AI video is exploding, and we're positioned at the forefront.
