Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, Medicare/Medicaid, and other regulatory guidelines
- Oversee cost reporting and reimbursement procedures for federal and state programs
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls
- Support executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic planning
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff if applicable
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
