Senior Manager, Business Solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in business operations, technology enablement, or process improvement in a complex, cross-functional organization. 
  • Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into scalable business and technical requirements.

Job Summary

Drive strategic initiatives and solutions that support business transformation and operational excellence. Collaborate across functions to identify opportunities, define requirements, and implement scalable solutions. Lead a team in delivering cross-functional projects that align with enterprise goals.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Translate commercial strategy into structured, scalable business requirements.
  • Coordinate with IT, Product, and PMO to sequence initiatives and ensure execution readiness.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across core commercial functions and workflows.
  • Lead discovery sessions and document current and future state processes.
  • Shape technology roadmap requirements and support backlog prioritization.
  • Track initiative performance and contribute to value realization reporting.
  • Refine solutions post-launch based on stakeholder feedback and adoption metrics.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to align on priorities and drive execution.

Nature and Scope

  • Solutions require analysis and investigation.
  • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
  • Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking and/or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
